Not everyone has these genetics. Not all ladies whom I shoot have these long legs and such barbie proportions. This gal has been gifted naturally with what so many women wish for in terms of body shape. She does work hard to keep slim and fit though. And she eats right. And I think her small children keep her running(yes I said the plural word: children…..and they are really busy kids, but so darn cute that I did threaten to steal them!). But perhaps what stands out to me far more than her natural beauty, which we captured for her and her appreciative man; was her ultra sweet character. She is the sort of gal that you could only be so lucky to have as a girlfriend, and her kind spirit really did outshine her natural physical appearance. While I am thrilled to show off her gorgeous shots, I am even more honored to say that I got to meet and get to know this stunning lady and hear her story. Everyone has a story and we truly loved hearing hers. We have already shot one of her best friends who traveled from out of state and we are so grateful for the kind referral. I get emails all the time asking if I shoot gals who are not perfect because all they see is perfect ladies on my website. I need to dispel the myth that anyone actually looks this perfect in real life. All ladies have something about themselves that they do not like…cellulite, stretch marks, scars, a little bulge here or there, acne, those last 10 lbs, etc. In this modern age, we do have the ability to apply a bit of magic to your images in our post production work flow; and we can give you a slight slimming in your arms, thighs, or tummy. I want the person whom you are gifting your images to still recognize you and for the editing to be slight and not overly noticeable, but I want to get rid of the things about yourself that you dislike if possible. So be reassured that even if you are not a Victoria Secret model, you are gorgeous and no matter what your size or shape, we can create very sexy images for you!! When someone asks you what size you are, tell them SIZE SEXY! You do not have to be a size 2 to rock a boudoir photography session at our studio. In fact, we see a lot of gals who are very curvy; and bra cups with the letter H have hung in our dressing room. Your beauty and sensuality are not marked by the number or letter on the label of your clothing. We use different posing and lighting for different body types, so that each woman’s best features are highlighted no matter what her shape or weight. Do not let the scale or society’s definition of beauty define you. You are truly beautiful, no matter what your weight or shape. This curvy woman came in to the studio and had a blast with us. We LOVED working with her, and her man was thrilled with his gift.
